Our Mission and Values

The mission of the MSSA is to protect and preserve the shooting sports at the state level. MSSA will promote and improve the shooting sports by sponsoring marksmanship training and competitions throughout the state of Missouri.

MSSA will work for the rights of the gun owner, shooter, collector, hunter, archer, black powder enthusiast, and trapper. MSSA will support the free exchange of ideas, information and education related to gun ownership, shooting, hunting, firearms and related topics.

At Missouri Sport Shooting, we are dedicated to fostering a safe and inclusive environment for all shooting enthusiasts. We will promote responsible firearm use while building a strong community that values sportsmanship, education, and respect. We believe in empowering individuals through skill development and providing opportunities for personal growth and connection.

We are the NRA State Association for Missouri and NRA memberships are discounted through us. We are also a Civilian Marksmanship Program club, allowing our members to purchase an M1 Garand from the CMP.
